WEDDINGS
Fairfield House is a magical venue for any wedding. We specialise in working with clients to assist in making their day perfect. The diversity of the spaces we can offer you, means you can tailor the day to completely suit your own taste and needs. There are no catering or alcohol restrictions and you can arrive from 7am on the day to prepare. We can also arrange for you to come the previous day to prepare and set up. Just mention this to us when you enquire. Our licence and your hire of the premises is until midnight.
The Ceremony
There are several very special places where vows can be exchanged at Fairfield. The Courtyard with its beautiful gardens and surrounding trees is one of our most popular spaces. The bride and her attendants can make a spectacular entrance from the woodland grounds down the trail into the courtyard where her groom and guests await. The adjoining Gallery and verandas are the ideal places to serve drinks from and ensure contingency spaces should the weather become inclement.
The Meadow is the perfect place for larger outdoor ceremonies. This is the ideal space to erect a marquee for larger weddings.
The Reception
The Ballroom with its two working fireplaces, high ceilings and wooden floors can seat up to eighty guests for dinner. The Meadow can be used with a marquee for larger weddings. The Courtyard is also a wonderful place to have the wedding dinner - al fresco.
Both The Ballroom and The Gallery are wonderful spaces for dancing in to a DJ or a band! The French doors open onto the wrap around wooden verandas and gorgeous gardens. Perhaps you will choose to have candle lit tables in The Courtyard with the surrounding fairy lights twinkling romantically?
