Holly ‘Cookie’ Baker
Coming to Fairfield on Kings Birthday.
Raised on a farm by the seaside in rural South Australia, Holly ‘Cookie’ Baker’s trademark sparkling vocals and the poetic grit of her cool wordsmithery paint a portrait of this pint-sized melodic force to be reckoned with. Now based on Kaurna land, Cookie creates lyrically-rich alternative country folk and dreamy pop that is all at once breathtakingly intimate, dynamic and compelling. Cookie comes to Aotearoa to share this intimate listening experience in duo performance mode with long-time musical partner, Jaan Kiploks, in celebration of her first release in five years, the enthralling new single, The Winter, featuring Ollie English.
Please note ~ this is an intimate ‘listening room’ environment of limited capacity. It is not a party with a band! Whilst socialising and sharing is encouraged before the show and during intermission, please appreciate the attentive and personal atmosphere we hope to foster during the performance. Thank you. x
