Our Interbeing Nature Cancelled

22 March, 2020
10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Event Category:

An enlivening talk, exploring the meeting point of mindfulness, deep ecology and our place in the world. With Tarchin Hearn

We will be in the beautiful meadow/gardens if the weather is fine, or inside if cold and/or wet.
Morning tea and nibbles provided.

Mindfulness is far more than a stress reduction technique.
It is a way of wisdom that reveals every moment of experience as an immeasurably vast and deeply intimate exchange with a living world.

With an appreciation for the interbeing nature of all experience, we feel the deep stirring of bodhicitta – a naturally evolving disposition for cultivating, both in ourselves and others, the magnificent human potential for panoramic, multi-realmed awareness, and ceaseless compassion and love.

To ensure these talks are available to all, entry is offered by donation/koha. 100% of donations will be offered directly to Tarchin in gratitude and support of his invaluable work.

In the 1970s, as a young monk he was introduced by his teacher, Namgyal Rinpoché, to many schools and practices of Buddhadharma. Today his work, while rooted in Buddhist principles, links personal and communal healing with a deep ecological perspective in ways that inspire a wide range of people from a variety of diverse backgrounds and traditions. Tarchin lives in the Bay of Plenty with his partner and longtime companion, Mary Jenkins.
