Spoken Word Poetry and Epic Heartfelt Music

Redwood Reider is a spoken word poet known for inspiring and uplifting live audiences. Performances range from intimate storytelling to fully charged eco-political rhyme (and often all at the same time). Redwood’s rhymes grow out of a deep connection to earth, a love of community, a passion for justice, and deep commitment to the healing of our outer and inner worlds. Words flow from the heart with humour and compassion. Redwood collaborates with a range of talented live musicians, on stage and in the recording studio. For this performance she will rhyme with live musical backing from the Mad Hallelujah Tribe, who will then follow up with their own set of music.

Mad Hallelujah Tribe is a spirited multi-national musical collective that illuminates stages and ignites dance floors worldwide with their vibrant presence and dynamic signature sound, which weaves elements of folk, rock, Celtic, gospel, medicine, psychedelic, tribal, and gypsy music. The Tribe is united by a common dream of creating epic, heartfelt music with the power to inspire, unify, and uplift people. Mad Hallelujah Tribe’s live sets are a soulful invitation to dance like crazy, clap, stomp and sing along, laugh & cry, and find unity and connection in celebration of life!
