Fairfield is cared for by a passionate group of people who give their time, energy, creativity and expertise to ensure this special place continues to thrive. From day-to-day operations to long-term stewardship, our small team and committee work together to keep Fairfield open, welcoming, and evolving.
Grounds Coordinator
Catherine Brosnahan
Catherine has been part of Fairfield since the very beginning of Friends of Old Fairfield (FOOF), and her contribution is woven into the landscape itself.
A true local legend, Catherine has dedicated decades to nurturing the house and grounds - caring for the trees, preserving the character of the house and land, and ensuring Fairfield remains a place of natural beauty and retreat.
Her knowledge, commitment, and deep connection to Fairfield make her an integral part of its past, present, and future.

Dani Newton and Matt McClymont
Dani brings warmth, organisation, and a deep care for the Fairfield community. She helps ensure that every detail - from bookings to events - runs smoothly.
Matt works alongside Dani to manage the house behind the scenes. With a hands-on approach, he helps bring Fairfield to life for every occasion.

Fairfield is governed by a volunteer committee (Friends of Old Fairfield - or “FOOF”) that oversees its long-term direction, sustainability, and role in the community. The committee brings together a diverse mix of skills - from arts and heritage to events, marketing and community engagement.
