Yes. Fairfield has indoor spaces available if the weather changes. The ballroom is best suited to up to 70 guests. The gallery up to 30.

Yes, we have a fully equipped kitchen which you are welcome to use for a BYO / bring-a-plate style function for a smaller group. Additionally, most Nelson catering companies are familiar with our kitchen and we are happy to support with recommendations.

Yes. All venue spaces are wheelchair accessible. There are ramps into the main building, as well as up to the meadow area.

Yes, you have control of what alcohol you bring on the premises, there are no add-on charges. As the host, you are responsible for the safe consumption of alcohol by your guests.

Yes, a member of the Fairfield team will be on site to assist you in set up and to answer any questions you may have. Set up and pack down of events is the responsibility of the hirer, unless pre-arranged with the Fairfield team.
