Jennifer Reid is a community artist who has a rebellious dedication to folklore culture. Jennifer will be in residence at Fairfield House during the TUKU festival, engaging with the stories of this place, and showcasing some newly researched songs with relevance to Fairfield House and Aotearoa. Jennifer brings her irreverent energy and passion for archives to every performance, sharing her repertoire of Industrial Revolution work songs from Lancashire and a selection of ballads designed to give voice to underrepresented groups in the folk scene today.
