MINDFULNESS-BASED COGNITIVE THERAPY an 8 week course
(MBCT) 8-Week Course | Nelson | May 25 – July 13
Learn the life-changing tools of mindfulness meditation with cognitive skills to:
Find calm, increase focus and reduce stress, to avoid burnout
Increase self-care and resilience.
Enhance self-compassion, moving away from rumination and self-criticism.
Improve sleep, learn how to wind down and let go.
MBCT is a clinically trialed and evidence-based eight-week program for managing stress, anxiety and depression. Recommended by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence, UK for the treatment of recurrent depression and to manage ruminative thinking and anxiety.
COURSE MATERIALS: Digital MP3 audio practice recordings, 73-page handbook and a pre-course interview.
COST: $580 – 22 hours of course time (Student, older people and beneficiary discount available)
